The Investment Climate Deputyship is playing a leading role in improving the business environment. This includes increasing the efficiency of the services provided to investors, developing and updating the investment regulations, and developing sector studies. In addition, we oversee the development process of bilateral investment treaties (BIT) and framework cooperation programs (FCP).

Our Deputyship is dedicated to enhancing the Kingdom’s investment environment by finding solutions for current and potential obstacles that investors face. In addition, we are continuously benchmarking ourselves against leading investment markets and looking for ways to take the lead. We are devoted to create programs and plans for long-term investments such as Tayseer. Our work also includes overseeing joint committees’ meetings and working groups’ activities and participating in relevant international forums, conventions and official visits.

• Build a competitiveness reporting dashboard
• Analyze and assess competitiveness reports (WEF, EDB, IMD)
• Define the annual reforms plan with relevant committees
